Tips for DLMA students answering questions on Media

These tips & comments are in no particular order...

  • If you are going to make comparisons with UK or US media, then make sure you read up on the topic - the media there is not as free as many people think it is... or as free as it would either like to be or it itself thinks it is.
  • Try to find recent examples to illustrate your points - there are news stories of various kinds happening all the time, so it is usually possible to find examples from the past few weeks or months rather than relying on ones from the past 10 or 20 years.
